As of January 10, 2022, All Community Centers Will Be Closed Until Further Notice, Per Business Committee: With the Exceptions of Funeral’s, Fill Out the Proper Paper Work for Approval. Vaccination Clinic Will Resume Every Wednesday’s, From 1:00P.M. – 4:00 P.M. At the Fort Duchesne Community Center. If You Need More Information, Please Contact Felicia Pike Cuch @ Emergency Management Department. We Also Ask That You Continue to Wear Your Mask and Continue to Wash and Sanitize Often, Stay Warm, and Stay Safe. If You Feel Sick Stay Home, An Get Tested.

If you are not vaccinated, please wear the face mask, continue sanitizing your hands and consider getting vaccinated.

Hay Sales on Tuesday & Friday Only. No Exceptions! First cut only. Alfalfa and Grass Hay $45.00 per bale. Average weight 3 Bales per 1 ton. Tribal members are limited to 18 bales per month no semi loads no holds no exceptions. Tribal member must be present of time of sale and have valid Tribal I.D No Exceptions. - Only those that have been fully vaccinated will be allowed in the gym. You will need to fill out a form and a Painted Horse staff member has to sign off that they have seen your vaccine card.  Everyone will need to go through equipment orientation with Jenny or Vodne so you know how to use the equipment properly. Once you have gone through orientation and have filled out the form, you are welcome to use the gym. For more information, contact 435-725-4911.



- Jr. Jazz Basketball Applications started December 13, 2021 Deadline is January 20, 2022. 7-13 year olds only. Must provide vaccine card. Application fee $10.00 per child. For more information, please contact their office at 435-722-2249.



Please check on the elders of your family, making sure they are safe and warm.

*Check on their propane percentage so they don’t run out.

*Remind them to keep a small amount of running water so pipes don’t freeze up.

*Make sure their steps, porches are dry and shoveled off, also driveways are cleared of debris, or snow that would prevent entry to the home or into the home.

-Applications are now available. You will need…

  • Identification: Tribal ID or Driver’s license
  • Copy of utility bill (electric, gas, propane, name/address of the provider & account number
  • Social Security card (s) for entire household (for eligibility)
  • Proof of income for all adults employed in the household (most recent last two paycheck stubs)
  • Social Security, SSI (disability), Veterans Benefits, Food Stamps (Copy of check/bank statements and/or documentation of funds)
  • Birth Certificate for children 0 to 5 years old ONLY!

- Time to Winterize with cooler Temperatures to prevent frozen Water. Keep a water faucet running with a slow drip to prevent broken meters or frozen pipes. Homes using Water Wells make sure to keep the water pumps warm during the winter.

- Also DO NOT Flush paper towels, facial tissues, baby wipes, flushable wipes only flush toilet paper. Flushing these items will cause issues in the sewer lines and septic tanks.

- Kindly Reminders: Trash cans need to be curb side by 7am homes with two trash cans please place them a foot apart. The following items should not be placed in cans or dumpsters: electronics, office furniture, construction debris (drywall, wood, siding), batteries, tires, paint, flammable liquids, dead animal, hazardous materials (gas, oil, pesticides) you may contact Water Systems for any questions at 435-725-4922



-The Emergency Employment Program is in full operation. If you are interested in participating, contact the Emergency Employment Program Director Julitha Serawop at 435.722.5141.

-Free Development Evaluation for children, birth to 33 months old. Evaluation testing includes:

gross motor, fine motor, self-help, social-emotional skills, receptive and expressive language, and hearing and vision screening
